After being told my hot water heater was in "imminent failure" I reached out to Rich, and he was able to help me within a day. I shared photos of my heater and Rich provided a quote over the phone. Upon installation, it became clear it would not be a cut and dry replacement - Rich meticulously checked pipes, exit points, etc. to ensure that my building and I were safe, and fixed unexpected issues that came up. All while sticking with his original quote. Rich was amazing - super friendly, professional and obviously cares about his work and clients.

I've had a few less than satisfactory companies give estimates for my HVAC replacement and they all were say okay. The fact that Mr. Mathews came explained to me and the wife what was involved in the process and answered all our questions and concerns about the installation process put us at ease. That was my first time I needed to replace a water heater and didn’t know much about it, but he answered all my questions explained all the options I have and gave me very reasonable price.

One of the things that stood out the most was how he helped me on the phone. Most companies I spoke to wanted as much info in your first breath as you could get out, and were mad if you missed anything. When I started right in Rich stopped me, asked me my name, told me his, and asked how I was. I knew he was the guy right there. He knew his stuff very well, and was patient when I couldn't answer questions. He came over to check out our very, very, poorly installed water heater and quoted us a very great price. He gave us options, and really seemed like he had our best interests in mind. He was able to come a day later which was faster than we had even expected, and got us fixed up in no time. All while my 2.5 year old bothered him wanting to help lol.

He went above and beyond for us, gave us a great price, and overall just a really nice person. We will never use anybody else.

Rich Mathews just finished installing a new gas heat and hot water system in my sister-in-law's home in Revere. Rich's attention to detail, constant communication every step of the way and his personal willingness to go above and beyond every step of the way was superb!
