Rich Mathews & Son installed both our heating system and our water heater in 2011. The service was great, the work was done efficiently, the cost was fair, and Rich provided clear instructions for the very simple maintenance that the systems require. Great service - would give more than 5 stars if I could! Rich and Lori took a bad situation (failed combination hot water heater) and helped ease the pain, going above and beyond to provide a solution designed to last and explain the quirks of our new-to-us house / the plusses and minuses of our chosen approach to the system replacement. Prices were fair and very competitive with other plumbers in the neighborhood. They went out of their way to make sure the new system got in fast before the winter cold set in, and were all-around great to deal with - responsive on the phone, transparent about equipment delivery and project updates, and just super kind to us and our nosy dog.
