I've had a few less than satisfactory companies give estimates for my HVAC replacement and they all were say okay. The fact that Mr. Mathews came explained to me and the wife what was involved in the process and answered all our questions and concerns about the installation process put us at ease. As a home owner I've had the pleasure of the high pressure sales tactics by salesman who say anything to make the sale.no Rich! The Quality of the installation exceeded any work I've seen done, no rush no fuss no muss. And to boot an all around professional who's work speaks for itself. I Highly recommend this company for the quality of work and the knowledges and expertise he brings to the job. Also impressed by his character Honest as the day is long. You can use another company but I doubt that you will get the Quality and satisfaction that Rich brings to any work site. I feel like these great reviews still don't do Rich justice! He was absolutely amazing from that first call to the end of the job!

One of the things that stood out the most was how he helped me on the phone. Most companies I spoke to wanted as much info in your first breath as you could get out, and were mad if you missed anything. When I started right in Rich stopped me, asked me my name, told me his, and asked how I was. I knew he was the guy right there. He knew his stuff very well, and was patient when I couldn't answer questions. He came over to check out our very, very, poorly installed water heater and quoted us a very great price. He gave us options, and really seemed like he had our best interests in mind. He was able to come a day later which was faster than we had even expected, and got us fixed up in no time. All while my 2.5 year old bothered him wanting to help lol.

He went above and beyond for us, gave us a great price, and overall just a really nice person. We will never use anybody else.

Can't say enough about Rich. I woke up around 5am to find our furnace fan running but not igniting. Called 10 places trying to get someone out that day and was turned away until we called Rich who mentioned he lived nearby and was happy to come by that morning. After 2 hours of working on the furnace he had everything up and running, provided us with all the information on what he did and what to keep an eye on, and best of all he didn't even charge us! Just a genuinely nice guy who really helped us out in a pinch.

After being told my hot water heater was in "imminent failure" I reached out to Rich, and he was able to help me within a day. I shared photos of my heater and Rich provided a quote over the phone. Upon installation, it became clear it would not be a cut and dry replacement - Rich meticulously checked pipes, exit points, etc. to ensure that my building and I were safe, and fixed unexpected issues that came up. All while sticking with his original quote. Rich was amazing - super friendly, professional and obviously cares about his work and clients.

Rich did an exceptional job at our house. We are new homeowners and we were faced with a water heater not up to code. Not only did he go out of his way to ensure that the correct solution was done, but he took the time to explain all the options, listened to our needs and gave us the best pricing- out of three quotes! The job was completed the following day immaculately. He followed up the following day to ensure our satisfaction. An extremely professional and honest person.

Rich Mathews came out the same day to replace my water heater when it died. He was on time, professional, and personable. He handled permits and did everything to a high standard that easily passed inspection. I felt he went above and beyond to ensure I understood how the system worked and what he was doing. I contracted Rich to replace a forced hot water boiler and electric hot water heater. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, focused on doing the right thing for a very reasonable price. I had tenants that had no heat and cold weather fast approaching. Rich was responsive, and took the time to make sure he was doing things right. While on the phone, Rich looked at the property on Google maps to understand how he was going to get the new boiler in, came over after hours to check over things and take measurements. I got multiple bids from other contractors, and Rich was the only one to provide open, honest recommendations that had my best interests in mind. He pulled permits, showed proof of insurance and was accommodating around my work schedule. Not only that, but his relationships with others in the industry proved immensely helpful, including a referral for a very competent electrician, and being on first name basis with the inspector. I have no doubt my job was done right. His knowledge and attention to detail are top notch and I would highly recommend him.

Rich went above and beyond assisting with maintenance to my boiler. He was on vacation and took my call because my boiler wasn’t working in winter temps. He walked me through all the steps of getting my boiler working until he was back to service it. I would have been without heat that day without him! He cares a lot about his customers and provides a top notch service!
